Truly peerless, the CrystalBlast Elite is the Total Ergonomic Machine designed to meet the needs of any sandcarving facility. Ergonomic features such as seated or standing operation, adjustable foot treadle, eye level machine controls, micro sized abrasive hose, fully padded armrest and large view window puts the Elite 3.0 in a class of its own.

Unique to the CrystalBlast Elite 3.0 is our Patented CleanFlo Technology, which includes a 700 cfm exhaust blower with 110 sq. ft. certified filter cartridge. The Elite 3.0 also contains a removable, patented, Cyclone 240 separator reclaimer that prevents the loss of even the smallest abrasive up to 240 mesh. The Elite 3.0 also includes LED lighting and high pressure long wear industrial Lexair valve for easy operation. All the combined features showcase the innovation and technology of the CrystalBlast Elite 3.0’s design.

The CrystalBlast Summit, Elite 3.0 and Pro X2 are the only cabinets in the industry with an air blow-off gun inside the cabinet. This blow-off gun helps to keep your parts clean and the grit inside the cabinet.

TESTIMONIALS

“My CrystalBlast Elite is my go-to for larger powder coated items that my laser engraver can't manage. Definitely gives us an edge over the competition! Plus, you can not beat sandcarving for glass and crystal!”

    Great piece of equipment!

Posted by Mark on 22nd May 2023

Just added an Elite to my business. The easiest learning curve of any of the processes I do in my shop. Training and support thru my sales rep, Andy H is AWESOME! Within one week of getting it in the shop, we are already producing sellable items. Online videos/support is great, and live support is only a phone call away if needed. A+++++ (originally reviewed 08/14/19)

The Elite is a Game Changer

Posted by Heather Kalafut, Amusing Threads on 22nd May 2023

I finally have my new CrystalBlast Elite sandblast cabinet up and running and it is such a game changer for me. I was using an old third-hand unit and this is like night and day. I can’t wait to try halftone and multi-stage carving and so much more. I’m just so happy! (originally reviewed 05/25/19)

    Excellent Depth of Cutting

Posted by Dave Fritz on 22nd May 2023

I absolutely LOVE my Elite. I've used it a few times and the depth of the cutting is so much better than my old machine. The time is so much faster as well. (originally reviewed 05/01/19)

Outstanding cabinet, I have 3 others for various blasting needs. The cabinet is top notch, well thought out, nice features like tool less nozzle changes etc... Customer service is outstanding..feel like I'm talking with friends who have a deep desire to help me with projects and set up. The only downside..and it's really a strange deal.. is the overhead lighting. In a cabinet that appears to be engineered to a sharp degree the lighting is rather "just put together" and needs addressing. Over all I would definitely purchase again. The Best Blaster In the Universe

Posted by The Crystal Touch - Carole Kuzmick on 22nd May 2023

The best investment that I have ever made was buying my "Elite" CrystalBlast machine It has changed my world completely. Easy to maintain...works beautifully even in 95 degree Florida weather with 100% Humidity. I can count on its efficiency each and every day. The Ikonics staff have been wonderful to help with any questions, problems and solutions. 17 months post purchase, I am forever grateful I made the decision to buy "The Best Blaster in the Universe". Best. Blaster. Period.

Posted by Michael Clark on 22nd May 2023

We had been looking at adding sand carving to our product offerings for several years. After my wife attended a regional school with Andy, she was sure we needed to take a closer look. I had always thought sand carving would be fun AND profitable so I set out to check it out in person at the next NBM trade show that we attended. I met Peter at the Philadelphia show, and he encouraged me to "give it a try". I was amazed with the ease and control provided by the CrystalBlast Elite, especially with the foot treadle...media flow was very intuitive. After my second piece of glass ware blasted, I pulled out my credit card and purchased the show floor model. Soon after our purchase we flew to Brea, CA to attend a free sand carving school at Media Blast to check out the other available models, features, photo resist films, and get some training from the experts. This was a great opportunity to see first hand some of the value added processes (especially color fill) that can further enhance our gift and award business. Touring the Media Blast facility and seeing the cabinets made is definitely a great chance to reinforce just how much quality is built into these USA-made machines. As a career engineer it was already clear to my how much went into these machines (even the welding is a work of art), but I had an even clearer picture. While the subject of this review is primarily around my experience with the sand carving machine, I would be remiss not to mention my experience with Ikonics Imaging as a whole. Through the pre-purchase, purchase, delivery, and postdelivery phases, I have always felt that the growth and success MATTERS to Ikonics. The entire outbound team that we have worked with (Peter, Andy, Dr. Jones) are people that know us by name, know what we do, and are people we call friends. Someone once described them as "Minnesota nice", and I now know what that means. Our experience has been the same with inside sales, and marketing as well .... it's clear it's part of the Ikonics culture. One word of warning is due here, though ... once you become part of the Ikonics "family" you will expect FAR MORE from all of the vendors in your supply chain. I'm very confident that whomever you are dealing with at Ikonics, you will feel like you're their only customer (you're not, I've checked, they have many). In summary, buy the machine. Unlike so many businesses that are "right there with you" until they get the signed check for the equipment, Ikonics builds a relationship. You will have no buyer's remorse here. Easy To Use

Posted by Larry H. Doster on 22nd May 2023

The customer service has been better than expected, ease of use is wonderful, learning curve 7 on a scale of 10 (having never blasted before), and expectations of purchasing another machine - excellent. (originally reviewed 05/25/18)

Great machine for small production house!

Posted by Amanda on 22nd May 2023

We've been using our CrystalBlast for 4 or 5 years, and it has held up to daily use in our ceramics and glassware sandblasting studio. It was even fairly easy to move from our old studio to our new one, and we've had great customer service whenever replacing a part or troubleshooting. (originally reviewed 03/08/18)

    Design Improvements

Posted by Lorraine Schinelli on 22nd May 2023

I purchased the CrystalBlast Elite several years ago and, in general, I am very happy with the blaster. My one frustration comes with the location of the air clean off nozzle. This is always in my way when using the blaster and I am constantly concerned that when I move it out of the way, I will drop it onto my glass and chip my artwork. It would be so much more convenient to have the air clean off come from the right side or the back of the left side instead of right next to the blast nozzle. (originally reviewed 02/08/18)
