This month, take a look behind-the-scenes with Becki Nelson, Human Resource Manager for all IKONICS divisions, including IKONICS Imaging.

Becki has been with IKONICS for over twenty five years and is key in helping to make IKONICS Imaging the world leader in sandcarving solutions by taking care of everything from recruiting and staffing to party planning and employee relations.

How long have you worked for IKONICS? I have been at IKONICS for 26 years.

What is your job at IKONICS? I have been the Human Resource Manager for all IKONICS divisions for over 11 years. Prior to transferring to the Human Resources department, I worked for our IKONICS Imaging department as Operations Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Coordinator and Technical Sales Representative.

What did you do before working at IKONICS? I didn't do much before IKONICS considering I have worked here over half of my life! Before starting at IKONICS I worked in the buying department at Maurices and prior to that I worked at Target.

What are your hobbies outside of work? I love being active and enjoy CrossFit, running and hiking. I also spend a lot of time camping, as well as watching my youngest daughter play volleyball and golf.

What was the best concert you ever attended? The best concert I've ever been to was Garth Brooks at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN. What a performer!

At which store would you like to max-out your credit card? TJMaxx ... no pun intended.

What was your last vacation? Our last vacation was to Ontario, Canada. I went on a fishing trip with my husband, my two daughters and my son.
