Customer Feature: Hemslöjd, Inc./Glass Decorators

Sending a big THANK YOU to all our amazing customers for their support & business! Today IKONICS Imaging is focusing on Tom Jaderborg with Hemslöjd, Inc.  Jaderborg specializes in sandblasting logos & inscriptions on barware for companies all over the world!

Hemslöjd History

Based in Lindsborg, KS, Hemslöjd started back in 1984 with original owners Ken Swisher & Ken Sjogren manning the helm. Initially Hemslöjd started as a gift shop with imported items along with hand crafted products made in-house. Not long after opening the store, the company started to experiment with glass etching and it quickly turned into a successful sister company of Hemslöjd.

The origin of the word "Hemslöjd" is Swedish for handicraft. Throughout Sweden you'll find small hemslöjd shops where crafts of wood, textile and other materials are made and sold.  Hemslöjd, Inc., carries on this tradition of handcrafted items made in the Swedish style. The personalized wooden Dala horse signs, candleholders and etched barware produced in the workshop are available in our gift shop, mail order catalog and on-line store.

Revolutionize Your Shop with RapidMask

Not only did we find a few fun facts about Tom with Hemslöjd, we also found out what helped make the shop so successful. We learned that Tom has a passion for photography and he can play the trombone - so cool!

"RapidMask HD was a revolutionary product for us. It literally made the impossible, possible. With it's fine detail characteristics, the sky is the limit with this film. We also love our 3624 CrystalBlast etching machine as it is a workhorse for us," said Tom Jaderborg.

IKONICS Imaging would like to thank Tom Jaderborg and the Hemslöjd team for their unconditional loyalty and support throughout the years. They are a wonderful company and like family. To get more information on Hemslöjd , visit online or stop-in and visit their sweet "Little Sweden" shop.
