Seminar Topics: This professional-level, hands-on, sandcarving seminar will educate students in the art and business of creating high-profit, etched products for the following industries; awards & engraving, corporate gifts, promotional items, and more. Sandcarving levels include basic to intermediate – all are welcome! Day One will cover computer and artwork training along with photoresist film mask application. Day Two will be hands-on training at Media Blast & Abrasive, Inc.
- – Discuss the basics of creating optimum artwork for sandcarving. Learn helpful tips and tricks when creating artwork for halftones, stage-carvings, shading or working on compound curved surfaces.
- – Produce photoresist films with the world’s only dry-process film, RapidMask, along with other washout films including; R-Series, UltraPeel and more!
- – Personalize, or etch logos and commemorative wording, on a variety of substrates including: glass, ceramic, stainless steel, rock, etc. You’re welcome to bring your own, unique substrate to personalize.
- – Experience top-of-the-line equipment in the sandcarving industry. Discuss all equipment utilized in the sandcarving process. Both low-cost equipment and high-production equipment will be available.
