Films
We manufacture several UV Processing films for decorative sandcarving. The two general categories are phototool films and photo-resist films. Phototool films are used first. Users print the design onto phototool film from an inkjet printer or laser printer. Printed phototools are commonly referred to as photo positives. However, in some cases photo negatives are required. The image printed on the phototool is then transferred to the photoresist film with ultra-violet light. Once the photoresist film is imaged, the photoresist is adhered to the item to be engraved. The photoresist film then serves as a sandblast stencil.
